Ulvsvåg
Ulvsvåg is a village with about 300 inhabitants, located along the E6 in the municipality of Hamarøy in the county of Nordland. Thanks to the short distances to the cities of Narvik, Sortland, Svolvær, and Bodø, it’s a convenient base.
In addition to the facilities of the guesthouse and campsite, Ulvsvåg has a supermarket and a car repair workshop. The headquarters of Nord Salten Kraftlag is located in Ulvsvåg. The area in and around Ulvsvåg is one of the most beautiful that Nordland has to offer. With the Lofoten Wall and the Midnight Sun to the north and ideal conditions for deep-sea fishing, freshwater fishing, and mountain hiking, Ulvsvåg is a fantastic starting point for truly remarkable nature experiences.
From Ulvsvåg Gjestgiveri, you can reach amazing mountain terrain within minutes—whether you want to hike, ski, or fish in one of the many nearby lakes. Less than two kilometers from the guesthouse, south of the E6, at an altitude of 700 meters, lies Ulvsvågskaret with groomed trails for long and refreshing ski tours well into the spring.
Sheltered from the open sea and the Vestfjord, the Ulvsvåg archipelago offers calm waters where even the most inexperienced fishermen or kayakers can venture out without fear of being surprised by rough seas.
